I was listening to Club XL on 106.7 and they were giving away free tix for the June 20th show and yours truly won a pair ;D

Club XL will be broadcasting live from the June 20th HOB show. Dance is making a comeback in Orlando!!

Btw check out the mixshow they will be hittin' the decks till 3am eastern tonight as usual.
 
I think the real question is who is Ian Van Dahl since Annemie is off doing AnnaGrace now.
 
The tickets say Anna Grace as special guest.

The show is tonight. ClubXL will be broadcasting live from the club at 10pm if I remember correctly so you should be able to hear it streaming live.

What a freakin' awesome time.

The place was packed and almost everyone was on the dance floor.

Annagrace commanded the stage despite not having any dancers. I'm going to have to give my dance card back because I didn't know she's the same Annagrace who sings "Obsession" and also the voice behind "castles in the sky". In my defense,I've been following dance since the late 80's.I even go on dance boards. i just don't have time to be doing research on every act that comes out.It doesn't help that we have this culture of producers slapping their name on the songs.

Anyway,she led off with "obsession' a crowd pleaser that people recognized. She then did "castles in the sky" and the place went ballistic (no exxageration). She did in all about six or seven songs including her latest"let the feelings go".She finished the show with "Will I".

The crowd was mostly 20 somethings who were on the dance floor the whole night.The music was mostly breakz,trance and some electro house.Total Central Florida vibe yet still progressive for any dance floor.They were totally into her show as was i. Never seen a dance act do so well in front of a crowd.
 
Annemie was not the original singer of "Castles in the Sky". She did do the bonus version on the album but the original singer of "Castles...." was Marsha.

Annemie joined the "group" when the producers decided to switch out singers after having a hit with "Castles..." Annemie's vocal is on everything after that though.

I've heard that she isn't allowed to use the Ian Van Dahl name for shows though since they developed the AnnaGrace brand. That's why I asked earlier who was going to show up as IVD.

That makes sense since I was looking for any clue that she might sound different and I only noticed a difference on castles.
