Ideally, who/what would you like to hear replacing Steve LeVeille's broadcasts?

Personally, I wish they would get someone who can bring it back to Larry Glick type shows, or the way Steve did it in the early days of the show. In the early 2000's, Steve was probably 85% light topics/15% heavy/politics.
I miss that type of format. There is already heavy/political shows all over the dial, but really not much in the way of a light variety "fun" show.
I suppose Morgan would be the best choice for this type of show.
I withdraw my suggestion for Hendrie as I did mention him previously. I checked out some of his recent material & I see he is doing a lot of heavy/political stuff & is very opinionated, & I'm not looking for that in a talk show...If he could stick to satire I would definitely be on board with him - bring back Lloyd Bonafide! ;D

Ideally, first of all, let's keep Bradley Jay away from the front of any microphone! He is the antithesis of a broadcaster - truly horrible.

I agree with the poster who said Bradley Jay should be kept away from the microphone. EXTREMELY PAINFUL to listen to.

Steve was once of a kind in the personality department. I was wearing thin with his attitude over the last several years, probably a result of his various health problems.
But overall, Steve was a top notch guy - I miss his show style, or at least the show style of say, the mid 2000's, when he did a lot of variety shows & left a lot of the politics on the back burner.
Now, on to Dean Johnson; I'm sure many of you pick up on that constant lip smacking/mouth noises he does. That drives me completely crazy - no way could I listen to that for a solid five hours each night.
And the other option? Bradley Jay's mindless droning? Come on CBS, you are scraping a hole in the bottom of the barrel here. Surely there is some quality out of work talent to be found somewhere. :
