Ideally, who/what would you like to hear replacing Steve LeVeille's broadcasts?

Acck! NOT Bradley Jay! I know it's been said previously, but I feel the need to bring it up again lest 'BZ/CBS gets in in their thick heads to put this clown on full time.

Five hrs. on General Petraeus?!?!?

Oh brother, Steve had so much more class than that. Talk about beating stupid topic material to death. Oh yeah, I forgot - there was a smattering of bike discussion about being run over, and encouraging to call in & share your gory stories.

Bradly boy, if you wanna sit in the big chair, maybe you should work on show prep a bit more. Better yet, stick to spinning records... ::)

...etcetera... ;D

Who was the idiot who put Bradley J on the air in the beginning? And on a 50,000 watt blowtorch.

I have it on good authority that he has/had a friend/relation at the station that got his foot in the door. How he managed to land the job after that is beyond me.

Makes sense why Steve always liked to have him as a fill in - at least he know his job would be safe!

The story led the evening news for 6 min's. What did you expect BradleyJ to be talking about? The country's #1 spook and #1general have both been smoked in a matter of hours. Of course he's going to talk about it.

Guess you are too young to remember Jerry Williams on 'BZ in the Watergate era. He made his reputation and his fortune by doing a one-issue program for maybe five years evenings on WBZ. The one issue was Watergate and Republican corruption. The program was very popular throughout the large part of the US where WBZ could be heard at night. At first, I was transfixed, but Williams' one-note handling of the topic eventually grew very old--at least for me. I suspect that Bradley is hoping to duplicate Williams' success, and that he is probably following instructions from management to lean on this topic.
