Ideally, who/what would you like to hear replacing Steve LeVeille's broadcasts?

I was not a fan of Jen Brien when she was on RKO. I didn't think she was up to discussing politics or serious issues for that matter. But I have tuned into BZ a few times when she was on and I think she did a very nice job with the lighter subjects. I am looking forward to her interview this week with the author of a book about Houdini.

I just realized that Bradley J is no longer the Executive Producer of Nightside. He mentioned one Sunday night that he only works a few hours a week and Dan Rea gave credit to his Executive Producer the other night and it wasn't Bradley J.

Does anyone know what happened?. I can tell you from experience booking guests for BZ isn't a tough gig.

I didn't hear the entire show last eve., but I heard Bradley make a few references to him not being employed by 'BZ in the near future. Did anyone else pick up on that? Have they made a decision? Jen Brien possibly? I hear her doing the traffic? reports now...

I haven't heard the show in a few weeks but Jen was sounding --then-- like she knew she was going to be there a while.
If she got the gig it wouldn't surprise me but at this point who knows? Maybe they will name somebody on --Steve's-- one year anniversary.

No Question - My Favorite to replace Steve - Morgan White Jr.
2nd Choice - Jen Brien -

Bradley J. belongs on FR BCN - Music is his only future. Bradley tends to go off base big time on many of his subjects.

I can agree with all of that, esp. the last part. One of the reasons that I don't call B. Jay is that he gets so sidetracked if something else comes up during the conversation. And, he is way too argumentative for my tastes. And nosy - he will probe with personal questions in an "off-putting" way, but still won't give his age over the air, lol.

Not that I really want to know, but he makes a big thing out of it and draws attention to it a lot.

As far as Jen - she's a good choice, I think. A bit hyper or "perky" for the overnight maybe, but then again, since she's new to this some of that may be nervousness and the late hours. Once she settles into an overnight gig she may calm down a bit. ;)

Once more thing - (Jen - if you're listening, lol.) I personally don't care for the abrupt way she ends the calls. It's too generic, or mechanical...not sure what the word is, but one moment you're talking to her & the next she jettisons' you off into space, lol.

Just my .02 on the subject.
