If R&B Adult WYBC-FM/New Haven were on 99.1-FM or 101.3-FM, would HOT 93.7 still be able to stay in the 8s and 9s (ratings) in the Hartford market? I'm sure the station's teen numbers would stay the same.
My 48 year old aunt tells me that she only listens to HOT 93.7 because there is no R&B FM station for grown folks in the Hartford market. She says that High School station WQTQ-FM is Hip-Hop one hour, jazzy the next hour and old school R&B the next. She has to change the dial every other hour.
