IF 98.7 AMP RADIO ADD'S MORE HIP HOP TO PLAYLIST IT MIGHT BOOST RATINGS

If 98.7 AMP RADIO add's more hip hop music aka rap music to their playlist it might boost their ratings here in metropolitan DETROIT.

I strongly believe that if 98.7 AMP RADIO add more hip hop to their playlist, and play it in heavy rotation it will boost their ratings.

I would really like to see 98.7 AMP RADIO flip to a Rhythmic CHR format. Rhythmic Contemporary Hits Radio.

When Perez Hilton makes his debut on WDVD Amp radio will probably see a boost in ratings along with Channel and Fresh.

If AMP played more hip-hop than they did now, AMP's ratings would fall even further than they are now. In Detroit, we have two full-time HipHop stations-97.9 and 107.5. 95.5 and 98.7 already play enough Hip-Hop, so adding more would be overkill to be honest. 95.5 has pulled ahead of AMP by opening up their playlist a little. AMP should do the same, and stop beating songs into the ground: We Are Young four times in less than two hours? Come on.

How come people don't like Perez Hilton, and refuse to listen to his show?

Hes not fit for radio at all. He does updates in the morning on AMP here in Los Angeles and he sucks. Honestly Rick Dees is more entertaining and his show airs on a Rhythmic Oldies station.

Your posts are so ridiculously uneducated sometimes. Please name what current "hip hop" songs AMP should be playing right now that they aren't. Cause they're spinning 15 out the top 20 on the Mediabase rhythmic chart.

Yes, this was the way Channel won a few years back but hip hop had a HUGE presence on the top 40 chart at the time, a presence that has been taken over mostly by the "electronic sound" right now. Look at the rhythmic chart right now, it's dominated by top 40 and electro sounding songs.
