A friend of mine drove through Atlanta on the way to Florida. He told me how he tried getting WiLD 105.7 and 96.7 throughout various parts of Atlanta and could not get a thing.
MAKES ME WONDER:
Just how small is this signal? Apparently people are hearing it to some degree if they are able to reach a 3.7 in ratings and get people talking about them on facebook! My friend also went on to tell me that Atlanta was a beautiful city, so I'm guessing this means he was at least close enough to see the city of Atlanta.
Since he's a regular poster on these boards, does his own internet radio and has always had an obsession with radio, I'm sure he tried on a couple of radio devices and I doubt that he'd be lying or over exaggerating when he says he "tried" to get 105.7 and 96.7 and "couldn't get anything." He was even DX'ing Y100 and 92.7 WEOW from Tampa while in Florida and had no problem with those.
