Uh, YEAH. I guess I'm in the "old ------" category.

LLoyd was the longtime News Director at the now-defunct WBIG radio in GSO -- JP's local station for years. He worked FOREVER, and RTNDAC had an awards luncheon that beatswas named in his honor.

Ken Karns -- long time jock in GSO.

What about Dusty Dunn if you're going that route?

Ain't Nobody gonna hire Wilburrrrrrrr Tom Collins????

Gee Doc...Thanks for the pat on the back. We're like Avis, ya know- We aim to please!

Is less still more??

What about blinks?

Where's your dream transmitter?

What's your audio chain look like?

Let's do "Real-Real Oldies", like 50's, and we'll hire Wilburrrrr (aka Tom Collins) to program it! ;D
It'll be great, cuz he knows everything! ;D

Wicker in the Morning 4am-12pm

An eclectic mix of Gangster Rap & Classic Country, to compete with Jamz & 98.3

Bring J.J. McCain back on Middays

Find The Big Lipped Bandit (102 jamz) to do afternoons

I need an edgy nightshow with attitude...so I'm going with Tripper

He can handle Production, too.

Trasmitter in Rural Hall...or maybe Midway

Maybe Clear Channel will buy me out...

Tell me more about Nick Allen

Tell me more about Nick Allen. I only met him once, he seemed like a nice guy. CC wanted me to sign a 6 month non compete and I'm not doing that for part-time work. He made a statement that I really didn't care for while we were talking. He said he liked voice tracking because you can make every break perfect. I think voice tracking is one of the worst things that has ever happened to radio. Sometimes the mistakes are funnier than planned bits.
