I’ve seen some threads like this in the past, so I figured I’d start a similar thread now that I don’t really have anything better to do. So here goes:

Manchester, NH:
95.7 WZID stays AC
101,1 WGIR stays rock
96.5 WMLL stays classic rock
97.5 WOKQ moves its tower closer to Manchester (to the WENH-TV tower), while remaining licensed to Dover
106.3/99.1 WFNQ/WNNH stay classic hits
105.5 WJYY starts to simulcast on 92.1 WDER-FM (changes calls to WNHQ) in Peterborough
Binnie Media buys 1110 WCCM Salem NH (and 98.9 translator) from Costa Eagle, which changes to a simulcast of 107.7 WTPL and changes its calls to WTPI

Boston:
103.3 WODS — flips to alternative
94.5 WJMN — re-adds the Breakfast Club in mornings
(No other changes)

WOKQ has (or HAD) a translator in Manchester on 97.9.....I don't think Townsquare is going to move their country "blowtorch" anytime soon....

While I highly doubt they’ll actually be moving WOKQ to the WENH stick in Deerfield, it would certainly have a positive impact on the station. The coverage they’d be losing would primarily be either in the Portland market (which is saturated with country stations) or in the ocean, while they’d be gaining a lot of coverage in the most populous area north of Boston — the I-93 corridor, from Lawrence (MA) to Nashua, Manchester, Concord and up to almost Laconia.

Especially if they had to cut power to protect adjacent frequencies in Boston and Worcester. There's The Beat at 97.7 for example. That could be a problem.

While I'm not a listener to WOKQ, I do recall when they were simulcast on WPKQ 103.7 to reach northern, NH and the surrounding country. While the two no longer simulcast, you should be aware of WPKQ and what its strengths are; meaning, there's little need for WOKQ to do anything re an antenna move. The following is from wikipedia:

It transmits from atop Mount Washington in New Hampshire, the tallest peak in the Northeast, alongside sister station WHOM.
