Iheart to air Smooth Jazz on 107.1 FM soon

Since it is a translator, and the market is saturated with other formats. This probably a wise decision, and will generate some revenue.

Nice! I'm hoping there will be some listeners. Sacramento isn't a rich 55+ market however, unlike Fort Walton Beach (WSBZ) and Albuquerque (KOAZ).

The best part of that signal does cover Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Penryn, loomis very well. Lot's of money and businesses there.

iHeart is doing exactly what I would do if that were my translator. They're doing everything they can think of to make money with it. I'm in Dave's corner, LOTS of money in the 60db of that signal. That format could make some money, who knows.

Do people still listen to FM? :) <- kidding of course
