I had already heard the telltale first notes of "Sarajevo" before the DJ was even finished saying it. Sounds more like Halloween. I think whoever wrote the theme from "The Godfather" has a case, but maybe not. Lots of songs sound alike.
 
I don't know what the actual radio station is doing but when I listen to this station online, sometimes the music jumps forward a few seconds. It's like a turntable is in a moving car.

Buffer underrun. Time to finally catch up with the 2000s, get off the 128Kb DSL and get 8 Mb service.

The library probably wouldn't appreciate you playing it out in the open on the speakers.

Huh? I have 6MB. That's been the case for five years now. It's amazing what the phone company will do to keep you as a customer when you threaten to quit not only as an Internet customer but also drop the landline.

I recently became eligible for 15 MB but I have to know exactly what to move around so the man can do the work.
 
Bob (I think that was his name) said he wasn't invited to a party. And they didn't even realize he would be working, so that's not why.

I don't know whether he is local or just one of the voices that iHeart listeners hear all over the country, but on a Sunday morning it's probably the latter.
 
Dude... 6 MB (megaBYTES) per second is 48 Mb/s (megaBIT -- note capitalisation (and yes, there is a huge difference between lower- and upper-case "B")), which is well more than sufficient to stream even 320Kb MP3 audio without dropouts. So I assume you must be on Winblows or Macinturd then, which may explain your buffer underrun issue.

What I want explained is what out-in-the-sticks little mom 'N' pop telco would sell xyzDSL access by byterate instead of the more proper and standard bitrate, never mind which state public service commission would be stupid enough to actually tariff something that misleading, however advantageous to the customer it may appear. They weren't affiliated with GTE or Untied Telephone (sic) once upon a time, were they?

Maybe it's a bitrate. I don't know what the speed is. Also, the comp-any hasn't been a mom-and-pop since a big company took over 2008, which is when the price per month first went low enough for me to get the Internet.
 
I use Windows on all of my machines and buffer underrun is rarely a problem for me. The issues with streaming, if any pop up, are usually related to ISP bandwidth lowering briefly.
 
WMAG is still doingChristmas music today but promises to go back tomorrow. K-104.7 (not iHeart) was still on in the car, and it was too.
 
KWXY was playing Christmas music a few minutes ago. They promised to do it through the New Year but that isn't the case, unless they're going back to it later.
 
But here's the good news: Holiday music will be ending in a few days, and this whole yearly topic of angst and excitement of what radio station will flip Christmas first; will be resurrected starting November 2022. It's like a weird Rain Man thing of; waiting for Judge Wapner to be on TV. Except, for radio.

WSPA Greenville SC (Audacy) is still playing Christmas music. That's according to what someone said here. I'm still on WISX but I never seem to be able to listen to more than one song before I have to turn it off and come back later. The guy keeps telling us it's his anniversary and he told the same joke twice.
 
KOST 103.5 in LA is still playing Christmas music as of tonight (12-28). Nice to have at least one IHeart Radio station continue the Christmas music and not end at 12:00 midnight sharp on Christmas night!
