Iheartmedia swaps four from aloha station trust to emf for six translators

https://radioinsight.com/headlines/...oha-station-trust-to-emf-for-six-translators/

Here are the stations affected by the trade.

Eleven years later thirteen stations remain in the trust, but four of them are now on their way to a new home as iHeartMedia will swap Classic Rock “Eagle 102.3” WEKL Augusta GA, Variety Hits “Steve-FM” 106.1 WSFF Winton/Roanoke and simulcaster 101.7 WSNZ Lynchburg VA, and Classic Country “107.1 The Bear” WLRX Ironton OH/Huntington WV to Educational Media Foundation for six translators.

Once again, this points out how affordable radio stations are right now. These are radio stations that have been on the market for 11 years with no buyers.

But where are all those new mom and pop owners that supposedly were waiting, cash in hand for the big selloff so they could bring radio back to the good old days? (Tom Langemeyer might fit that bill but he's looking ahead, not back)
