iHeartRadio music festival to stream on ALL Clear Channel stations

I just heard an announcement that the entire iHeart Radio Music Festival will be broadcast live on every single station owned by Clear Channel. I don't know if I'm a good judge, but I think it should be only streamed on stations with the Top 40/CHR format, since I think that's what this festival mostly is.

Actually, it's mostly CHR Clear Channel stations. KBKS 106.1 is airing the pre-show right now, but I wonder when it really gets started, that KJR/KNBQ/KUBE will start?

WTF? Are they really THAT desperate for attention?

One station, yes, fine. Go ahead.

Bur ALL of them?

In Los Angeles KIIS 102.7 is the only station running it. :)

KJR-FM is a CLASSIC HITS station anyways. KJR-AM is a SPORTA TALK station. The music festival would be out of genre for BOTH of them !!!!!

Who at CC is in charge of the distribution of that event? Sounds like a quack who doesn't know SQUAT about radio

Cheers & 73 ;D
