Mystery Radio is not broadcasting over the FM or SW anymore at all,, there is no reason too,, Hoosiers dont like most of my music anyway except for when I play some Oldies ,80s,, and Classic Rock and some,, very little country.

As for the Internet thing,, My uncle in Bloomington helped me get the Sound Exchange License ..2 Grand for the license,, and 500 a year in royalties. The only thing that happens is every once in a blue moon the DMCA rules are accidentally broken,, but thats one reason Why I now use SAM Broadcaster,, which cost another 200 bucks. Please dont be mean to me and say im a liar and a criminal because im really a nice gentle and honest guy.. I forgive everyone who bad mouthed me,, cause I dont hold a Grudge.. In fact I really look up to BOB on the JOB,, Chief Engineer,, and yes.. Randy Micheals,, Although I think he has worked has arse off long enough to spend some free time with his family..

"the DMCA rules are accidentally broken"

Like what? What doesn't the Sound Exchange license cover?

Everything is paid up in full, and the DMCA rules are no longer accidentally broken since I use SAM to schedule music instead of just looping a shuffle playlist in winamp.. You can come to Martinsville, and their is no pirate activity here except for that 93.7 that has been quiet for a few weeks now.. You aint gonna find me on FM,, I dont need it,, why cover a 3-5 mile radius in a rural area, when you can get broadcast legally online for a one time 2000 fee, and a 500 dollar a year plan,, which to me is reasonable,, I had another Dance Station,, NOT ME,,,, but the other station BJ was on only pays 440 a year, and got his license for 1,000, half what I paid,,, possibly cause I stream in 192k, and he streams at 96k,, which both stations sound fine to my old ears.

For pure play webcasters, there is a "performance compliment." Basically, you're restricted from playing more than a certain number of songs by the same artist or from the same box set within a certain time frame. Doing so violates the terms of your license. I believe there still is a "performance compliment" for NAB members, but it's less stringent than what is required for pure play webcasters.

You are Currect Kent.. thats why my music is scheduled now, Properly.. I have all avail paper work.. I try to be local to the central Indiana area,, but most my listeners so far have mostly been from Spain, Germany, Italy and Denmark.. I still have about 50 percent USA listeners, but not many are in the Greater Indianapolis area.

As long as you're having fun with it keep it up! Not big on the internet listening, and seems like it'd be difficult if not impossible to build an audience in one geographic area, but as long as you're putting something out there you can be proud of then more power to you. One day there may even be a payoff.

Go here radio.ipip.cz and click on Breakbeat,, M current show is Florida breaks music.. But Depending on the theme of the show,, I change the station name. I dont have hardly any listers on weekends.. But if you tell me a certain style,, Them Show you would like me to do I can do that,, even for just a few listeners,, so If you wanted like an 80s,, or oldies,, or any decade specific show,,or any popular, or rock music shows,, let me know,, I cant legally do like an all Artist specific show,, do to the DMCA rules,, I may even be able to throw together a few hours and do a classic Country show.. Also,, I can do just about any Dance-techno genre theme you may like,, but the only way I get even a few listeners is to do Niche Shows.. I found that doing one format all the time is boring,, and I dont use the Mystery Radio name anymore because people associate it with being illegal.
