I'm surprised the Adult Hits fad hasn't hit here yet

Most of the major markets have an Adult Hits station of some sort:

NYC - Jack FM (WCBS-FM)
LA - Jack FM (KCBS-FM)
Chicago - Jack FM (WJMK-FM), 9 (WKIE-FM/WDEK-FM/WRZA-FM)
San Fran - Max FM (KZBR-FM)
Dallas/FtW - Jack FM (KJKK-FM)
Philadelphia - Ben FM (WBEN-FM)
Boston - Mike FM (WMKK-FM)

As well as numerous medium and small markets. I do think this is all a fad and another attempt by commercial radio to squeeze blood from rocks. I'm just saying I'm SURPRISED to see it not come here. Guess the stations are doing well for themselves.

Have you listened to 92.9 DAVE FM, in Atlanta?

Probably he has, and discovered that dave fm is not, in fact, an adult hits station. While dave fm's moniker is similar to <i>Jack, Ben, Ralph, etc.[/i]

Ilove listening to WCBS IN NYC. I wish 92.9 would do this. It sounds so much more alive and upbeat. You truly never know what you are going to hear.

Let me know what you think of it after listening to it for 9 months.

Yes, I have, and it's a Triple A station ("Rock Without Rules!"), not Adult Hits. Heck, they even play the Falcons games.

Well, let's just have all talk radio all the time. I mean you are always going to have some repetition.
But they play songs from 4 decades.

I've listened to the JACK format, and I've listened to Triple A. DAVE-FM is neither.
