I lived right in hollywood by the kodak center where the academy awards took place.

cool...amazing how much farther your housing $$$ goes in Louisville, huh?
$1400 a month for a run-down 1 BR near Hollywood & Highland...
or $1000 a month for a nice 3 BR in the Louisville Highlands!

and stop and compare the Watterson and 65 junction to the 405 and 101 junction!

Hey romer979fm well in 2000 i lived on orange street in this bldg that looked like the outside to melrose place and paid 485 for 200 square feet and parking and a pool and topless european girls sunbathing was a nice touch i might add ;D It is la after all but then after living with my girl in phoenix for awhile i moved back to la in fall of 2002 to the exact same bldg to 300 square feet for 625 and all included as the first time but now nothing in that bldg goes for under 1000.What was really cool was in february of 2003 was coldplay played a free show outside at the hollywood and highland!!! So yes cost of living is much cheaper in louisville but it all depends on what your priorities are in life. I love living in hollywood very centrally located if you work in the business and not to far from clear channel in burbank lol and relatively speaking you do not have to drive all that much.

There is a lot to complain about in la and louisville for that matter but there is also alot of cool things in la and louisville to but not as many.I will say this the highlands is one of the coolest little areas anywhere in this country that is alot coming from me to say that.

I worked at the manhattan beach studios quite a few times and never got caught in traffic on the 405 ;D But if it was a 5 o clock wrap thats a different story. And just love coming back to hollywood from orange county at rush hour :'(

Where in los angeles do you live? Where in louisville did you live?
