In the news: Brattleboro Community Radio...coming soon?

Brattleboro Community Radio, 107.7 FM, will begin broadcasting in August, as long as plans to install a tower on the roof of the Brooks House meet state and town approval.

Brattleboro Community Radio is under a strict timeline. (Ken)Brace said the station is ready to go on the air by August, which is cutting it close.

Sept. 2 is when the FCC construction permit expires, and if the station is not broadcasting by then, it can't ever receive a license.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering how the new Brattleboro (LPFM) community radio is coming along. I hope they do get on the air. Like I had said before... the community really does need a voice of their own after RFB got shut down. I am excited to find out how things come together once they go on the air! :)
