In the news: WBZ-TVs Rex Trailer in Florida ICU

I always wanted to be the "varmint" that the sheriff tried to catch every week. I never made it. I watched this show even after I was too old. I just never mentioned it in front of the guys. I loved that "Hoofbeats" song when he left the bunkhouse and rode over to Boomtown.

My sister was on that show when she was in high school. We're talking probably 35 years ago. She is about 6 years older than me. I vaguely recall watching her on tv, she and Rex were sitting on some (I think) apartment building type stairs in front of the sidewalk talking about high school or something. I happened to ask her about it a couple of years ago and she could barely remember being on the show and couldn't remember at all why she was there. :D

Rex died last night. The Globe just put up a story about him. I'm going to have a Fluffernutter for lunch in his honor.
