Just got word that both Z100 and WKTU have added "Cry For You" by September. This record continues to show why you can't just give up on Dance records that show any signs of life. ;)

Pulse added this a month ago :-/
iPartyRadio added it over a year ago

I'm just glad it's getting spins on other stations besides 87.7

Thanks guys. We at Robbins always appreciate your support. This has been a mission for Frank. The thing that really opened it up for the second go round was the UK video. B96 saw it and pretty much added it right away. Frank has been work feverishly since then to get stations back into the fold and realize that they missed a hit.

I have been crowing about this song not getting enough top 40 adds for a year...an instant dance anthem...word has it the philly bstations are adding it too(wired,q)...promo only just readded it to their mainstream may cd.

Why Cry For You though? Looking for Love's quite nice also. Hell, Satellite's an old song for some but new for stations like Z-100... Give them a whirl too.

"Cry for You" is a great song, that's why. :)

The "Cry for You" revival started with a great video from the UK as well as a Top 5 Pop Chart debut over there. Then came B96 in Chicago leading the way on the 2nd go round. When a station like that goes on a dance record people tend to notice. Combine that with the fact that it wouldn't go away in Minneapolis or Tampa and you have a story!

"Looking for Love" hasn't been released in America. And "Satellites" was a great song whose time has past, unfortunately.

Miami WHYI latest to add Cry For You. I hope this time around it really takes off. Everytime this song comes on, people gay and straight seem to know it and like it. Just something I've noticed.

hmmmmm,,,and where have you been hanging out lately?...lol...

Chris,

I believe the Y-100 Spins are coming from the syndicated Z100 Morning show on Y-100. Hopefully, that play will spark some interest at Y. :)

I think what I meant was, being gay, of course this song is a smash. And with having straight friends, they even know the song and like it.

All this gay chatter... How many toaster points has lalumia just earned for bringing the boys out?

This thread has officially gone off the dance track... whoops!

**Back to the regularly scheduled props to a dance track!**
