The ratings for Riverside/San Bernardino were released yesterday, acording to Taylor on Radio-info. They can be found by going to the radio-info ratings page. But, for those of you who are curious, and can’t wait until your brouser loads the page, the top 5 included KFI (from LA), KGGI, KQRB, KOLA, and KFRG.
Now, as an outsider here, I try to watch this market (and all markets around the LA area) closely. However, there are some stations listed here that I’ve never heard of, or am confused about. I wasn’t able to get my questions answered by going to radiostationworld.com, so I thought maybe someone here could clear things up for me, please?
Okay. There’s a station in the listing (9 [tied]) called KSCA-FM. I’ve never heard of that station, and I can’t find it in radiostationworld anywhere. Where is it out of, and what format is it running?
Next, there are 2 stations that have similar calls listed here: KTWV (16 [tie]), and KWVE (19.) Now, I believe that KTWV is the Smooth Jazzer from LA. Am I right? If that’s right, then, what’s KWVE. Is that the Smooth Jazz station out of Temecula at 94.5? Radiostationworld lists that station’s calls as KMYT. If that is not correct, then, what IS KWVE. I can’t find that call sign listed. Where are they from, and, of course, what’s their format?
If you don’t feel comfortable answering these questions on the board, and would rather answer them for me directly, you may do so by sending me a private message, or by sending me an email. My email address appears at the bottom of my posts, and can also be found by looking at my profile.
Any assistance you can give is appreciated. Thanks.
