Interesting thing:

I was doing my "every once in a while" search of the CBS radio job bank this morning, and you could not select Atlanta at all from the list of cities! In the stations column, WVEE, WAOK and WZGC are still available as search filters. But, of course, no jobs available. Not even the gratuitous "AE" listing. Come on, there's usually at least one opening, especially in a cluster at market 9. Web site update? Cluster up for sale? What gives? Let the naysayers say nay!
 
Checked out the site. The Atlanta cluster is gone. Strange indeed...

Wonder what's up. If anything. Dave's future may be shaky, but V103 isn't going anywhere.
I hope they don't do anything stupid with Dave.

But if the Q100 joke went away....
 
Ok, ok. I'll stop the Q100 joke. Anyway, I have a good friend that works at Dave FM. And, like the web site, he won't return my calls either. He KNOWS I'm going to ask what's up. So, the rumour mill can now proceed.
 
Rumor: Cumulus is firing the Dickies and making Neil CEO. They are going to buy the cluster and make DAVE FM into Donna-FM music for the transvestites.
