Ion XX.4 is back as another feed of Ion Life

I did a rescan of my channels where I live in Memphis, TN this morning and discovered something odd. WPXX 50, which is Ion, had a fourth subchannel 50.4. It had it about three years ago when it was Worship network, then that was dropped. When I turned to it, the PSIP header said ISHOP, but it appears to be the west coast feed of Ion Life, as the east is on 50.3, or it might be the other way around, I don't know, I never watch that channel. I'm wondering what is going on here. Am I going to have to Ion Lifes, or is ISHOP going to be some kind of shopping channel?

Hmm, I have 2 ION stations I catch easily. Will need to check that out when I get home.

I guess that "ISHOP" will be a future subchannel, but ION Life is "parked" there on -4 in addition to -3 for now.

Must be limited, because I still have three subchannels in Phoenix.

WHPX-TV (ION) channel 26 of New London, CT shows:

26-1 ION
26-2 Qubo
26-3 ION Life
26-4 ION Life west coast (PSIP data said "26-4 ISHOP")

Checked both my ION's.

WPXM Miami's 35-4 is ISHOP (Ion Life), but WPXP Lake Worth has no 67-4, yet. Funny....isn't ION based in/near West Palm Beach? Lake Worth is in that market.

Not seeing it on WPXA in Atlanta but it is up on WPXR in Roanoke. Pattern seems to be markets with AirBox running do not have the ISHOP channel lit up.

The name "ISHOP" makes it sound just gripping.

Maybe it stands for Ion'S Holiday & Original Programming :D?

Then again though, Ion has pretty much now reduced infomercials to 3-10am. It's all repeat after repeat of crime shows (and for some reason, lots and lots of runs of No Way Out), but I'll take it compared to the bad old days of 2005 when it was the exact reverse with original programming from 5pm-midnight under "I".

That's exactly what I was thinking... Airbox or ISHOP. If that's true, then Houston should not have ISHOP - can anyone confirm?

Not present on KPXB Houston.
