Is AP All News Radio still in business?

I read here last Spring that the AP was shutting down their all news feed. I kept noticing it remained on the AOL Radio player. I clicked on it a couple of days ago (expecting dead air), but instead I heard wall to wall news and features just like before. Did they change their mind? Are any stations still taking AP All News Radio?

I think the Netscape/AOL radio feed is the last remaining AP outlet. Even their regular WinMedia stream no longer works.

They died on July 15 at midnight. The anchors' last words were, "This was the news station."

All AP ANR affils (there were 50 total) now carry different programming. 'Tis no more. Sadly.

I listen to the stream some more. Apparently what AOL (or somebody is doing) is taking newscasts, updates, features and other items AP still sends to stations and putting together sort of an automated simulated version of The News Station. It sounds like the real thing unless you listen long enough to hear segments repeat.

Which is about five minutes. It's just alternating feeds of top-of-hour news and bottom-of-hour AP Update. No real resemblance to "The News Channel." Also easy to load it at Radio@Netscape .
