Is Howard Stern About To Bolt Sirius/XM--& Could He Be Back On The Air in NY?

Agreed. Howard Stern led me to Sirius Radio in 2006, but I quickly grew tired of his constant ''Vacations'' and not being ''Live'' circa 2009-2010. This issue escalated when I had to move, and my Satellite Radio has not been the same since. I had 4 Radios; I down-sized to 2, and am about to cancel the remaining to due to (a) Poor Reception (b) Howard's Uncertain Schedule for his Radio Show... Satellite Radio is no longer worth the hassle with the Reception Issue that was introduced with the Sirius-XM Merge. Long Live OLDIES!! :)

He takes off too much for terrestrial radio. With him taking off every Friday, and him taking more vacations than he used to, he would have a hard time competing against other shows.

Here is an interesting scenario--
Howard Hoffman's Great Big Radio stream has now hooked up with Tom Leykis's internet delivered talk show under the "New Normal" banner. The Stern link-
DON BUCHWALD represents New Normal.
If Stern chooses to bolt satellite and go to internet stream, the infrastructure for his future platform is already there.

I don't know... Do you really think Howard would join forces with New Normal, knowing that they've already got another Howard in the fold? ::)
