Is It Time To Combine Boston's Radio And Television Boards?

Looking at the low count of most posting on the New England Television Board I wonder if the time has come to either establish a combined Boston Radio and Television Board of set up a separate Boston Television Board.

It seems to me that there is sufficient news and information for a Boston Television Board to make it on its own. The New England Television Board is too vague and generalized by its very status to be interesting to most viewers and posters. Have to say that most of the television action comes out of the Boston market and not the other lesser markets in New England; that is not a slap at the other markets but the reality of it.

So, I hope the powers that be will consider either a combined Boston Radio/Television Board [ that's why I am posting it here] or consider establishing a separate Boston Television Board.

No and no. Boston and Providence are so close they have an intresting impact on each other which, if I recall, is one of the top sets of major TV markets. As for the TV/Radio merger, that would confuse new members as it would be the only officially combined board on Radio-Info.

OK Chief, would you believe a Boston/Providence Television Board.
At least someone would read the posts then.
Now it is....as someone once said of television, " a vast wasteland".

Why? Some of the posts on that board are associated with Hartford which is, like Boston, a larger market than Quahog. New England TV is fine - it's just been boring lately.

Besides, why is any of this on the radio board and not on the TV board?

Radio is good and I like to read what people have to type about it,couldn't care about TV,

Those kind of suggestions belong in the Ask Radio-Info forum. While you're there, ask them for me why you're still allowed to post anything, parklane.

The only act being perpetrated here is the one by a certain former Jerry Williams producer who keeps showing up with new identities every 100 posts or so. I guess you'll be due for a new one soon.

If true I would wear that as a badge of honor. Please grow up and stick to the issue at hand - the suggested establishment of a separate Boston Television or combined Boston Radio and Television Board.

If you cannot be more than a one note bore - go away.

Because Parklane was banned from the NE TV board. And, Parklane tried using another name, and got busted on this board, and that one again.

If you're not Parkalne, my apologies for the accusation. But if you are, well, you now where you go...

radio merging with TV board

Radio and TV merging is inevitable. In fact, there's a host who did that ten years ago! StenoPad gets my vote - Merge the two boards!

Be sure to mention in your complaint that you've already been banned about two dozen times, Parklane (talk, grundig, Best and Brightest, etc. etc.)
