HR 848 Music Fee latest GARBAGE
mss Judy McBride,

We also have and will continue to air ads against this tax. I have sought to be heard at these hearings and have been ignored.

No one has taken the time to address what extra costs will do to the smallest operators.

Nothing about this is fair and we will fight this unfair, greedy act by performers and their lack of understand that radio introduced them to the public and the artists made bad deals with the record companies and the broadcasters can not be blammed for poor choices.
Radio stations are presented with gold records as a thank you for making a song #1. Where did the money from sales go ?

Re: Is Rep Issa, Cooper & Conyers- Three Blind Mice!!

These blind mice have been fed junk by the artist and record companies. These mice are little to even reply to those that want to address them on this issue.
These guys are in the pockets of NON US record companies and the NAACP.
No one responds on this issue. These cowards ignore the public, these are our elected officials?
Small market stations do not get record service and must buy product, does the artist get paid?
Please contact these puppets and remind them who they work for.

John Conyers Michigan Rep 313-961-5670 313-226-2085 (Fax)

Darrel Issa California Rep 202-225-3906 202-225-3303 (Fax)

Jim Cooper Tennessee Rep 615-736-5295 615-736-7479 (Fax)

Thank you

Dalhart, Texas, ladies and gentlemen.

Re: Is Rep Issa, Cooper & Conyers- Three Blind Mice!!

Well let's see now: the Congressmen were all in the pockets of the NAB when they let broadcasters go wild and create the Clear Channel monster. Now that the great radio consolidation experiment has ruined the industry (remember radio was on the way down when the rest of the economy was still doing great) the NAB doesn't have as much bribe money - oops - campaign contribution money as it used to so the Congressmen are in someone else's pocket.

The proof is these elected officials do not reply from the public that wishes to be heard at the hearings.
Many advocates have made attemps to get involved and continue to be ignored.

KXIT-KIXK Radio , Yes, ladies and gents! Dalhart, TX and proud of it.

You should be, Dalhart is the "gateway" to the Rockies. Plus, a major ag producer.

Chris,
Please stop by any time you are in the neighborhood.

Yeah a real garden spot as you pass through enroute from Dodge City to Tucumcari having passed mile after mile of feed lot with their mountains of cow dung. Yep, that area is an acquired taste.

Getting back to the point, exactly what benefit is it to San Diego that area radio stations will be forced to give about 10% of their revenues to foreign record labels?
