Is the sale of WLIR and other Jarad/TMO properties dead or dying?

As noted in previous posts, a 90 day Extension of Consummation was filed on June 5 for WLIR and WBZB. No such document was filed for WDRE. The 90 days is about to pass.

It certainly appears that there is no sale planned for WBZB, and that the sale of LIR and DRE has been delayed and is in jeopardy. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Who knows? WBZB is running Business News, so it is probably making a dollar or two in either network payments or an LMA. Andre is looking for "personalities" on WDRE (Party 105) so maybe they are keeping that. As to WLIR...the original press release was that the "new owner" was looking to improve things there...but it doesn't seem like much is happening.

I don't know whats going on but I hear a difference in the music on party 105. It seems like there is more hip hop, than over the summer

That usually happens when summer is over though.

It didn't happen much when LAST summer ended. Hopefully it will stay dance. Remember that all the people who rent homes in the Hamptons over the summer are moving out.
