Is there a device to transmit my Sirius Signal to a Second Radio?

I remember hearing an advertisement on terrestrial radio for a device that will allow me to hear my Sirius Satellite Radio on another radio in my house. I think I heard the Ad on "Coast to Coast." Apparently, there's some sort of equiptment that will send the signal from my Sirius satellite receiver to another radio in my home that does not have the Sirius hardware. Does anyone know how I can do this or what equiptment I need to buy? Where can I purchase it? Thanks!

Your Sirius Radio should have a Built in FM transmitter already there. My sirius radio transmits up to a half mile away. I have the Xact Visor model. Try going to the menu, and searching for FM TRANSMITTER..... You really should already have one.

What if I can't pick up the signal on another radio using the FM Modulator? I live in a large 2 story house, and I can pick up the signal on the radio's that are downstairs, cause that's where I have Sirius hooked up. However when I go upstairs and tune in those radios to the same frequency, I get static. Is there a repeater that Sirius offers that can fix this problem? I know XM offers this.

I had almost the exact same problem. I just went to Best Buy and bought an FM Transmitter that you can plug into the headphone jack. Works like a charm.

Just curious. Did you do something with your radio to get it to transmit that far? I have the Xact plug & play unit and I extended the transmit antenna in it outside the unit and it doubled my signal. I can get it good for about 200 feet.

I was gonna suggest the same thing. If your unit has an (FM OUT)jack, then you can either plug in an antenna, or plug in another higher powered Fm transmitter, you can buy them online-Ebay-RadioShack, Lots of places. The other board members might be able to suggest a good model Transmitter to use. My stock Sirius Visor unit is powerful enough stock to cover at the ver least, my property,,, And if set up right, with no DX happening, it goes 1/4 to 1/2 mile.

Is there a brand and model number for this item?
 
If you have the FM out jack, go to Radio Shack and buy the CHEAPEST mono earpiece with the same size mini-plug as the FM out jack. Should be under $3.00

Then, cut off the earpice and you'll be left with a mini-plug and long wire. That will significantly improve your range. Worked much better than the stubby wire included in my kit.
