Now that Lionel is gone and Randi Rhodes got suspended for the use of language, is this going to be the end of Air America? Yes it is! WWRL is going to play a bunch of infomercials, this sucks! Why not go back to the music and play some "100% Pure Soul" like the O'Jays, the Tempataions, Marvin Gaye, Gene Chandler and the rest on WWRL and forget Air America, it's over! Go back to play R&B like when it was back in the mid to late 1990's when it was on WWRL.

Is This The End of Air America on WWRL?

For WWRL to go back to Classic Soul like you said in your post, the station would have to do several things.
The station would have to increase its signal to 50,000 watts without interferring with neighboring stations like WQEW.
WWRL needs to broadcast in HD. The sound quality on AM is on par with FM. There is also less static.
And the station needs a strong sales and promotional staff to push the station. No one will know you're out unless you advertise.

I understand the debate. WWRL already dumps Air America for good, but it still remains on XM. Lionel already left Air America. The station had no ratings, it is a weaker signal, but it plays too much infomercials on this format after AAR pulled the plug. I found this article in the Daily News about the dumping of Air America.

Ed schultz is great along with Stephanie Miller. Those two put them in any market and they will hold there own!!!
