Is WZME 43 Bridgeport/NYC off the air for good now?

They're now channel sharing on WEDW's signal.

I have heard from folks in Connecticut that WZME's content -- the Charge and Comet networks are both off the air, despite the fact that they are both listed as on the air in CT at their websites. I think they were in a share arrangement with CPTV and I also know that WNET was planning to share with BizTV and a religious channel. BizTV was on 13.3 then off, back on a few weeks later along with 13.4 then both gone again. What's happening with these channel shares and PBS? I wish 13 would carry World and Create as it is not possible to tune in those stations on WLIW. Also wish that Comet and Charge would be on air somewhere. Thanks for any details.

Hi:

Coincidentally, Comet and Charge went off the air when WMFP-TV in Boston - which like WZME carried those stations, is owned by Multicultural Broadcasting, and also whose frequency was sold in the spectrum auction. As of April 1st only SBN, the religious channel owned by Jerry Falwell's ministries, is on WMFP, which will channel share with WWDP-TV in Norwell, MA as of July (they got a 3 month extension).

WZME and WMFP were owned by NRJ, not Multicultural. SBN is Jimmy Swaggart, not Jerry Falwell.
