WFFX Completes Move From Hattiesburg To New Orleans With Halloween Stunt
Concurrent with the move of 104.1 KVDU Houma to the Baton Rouge market and its flip from Variety Hits “104.1 The Spot” to Adult R&B "104.1 The Vibe", iHeartMedia has completed the move of Rock "103.7 The Fox" WFFX Hattiesburg MS into the New Orleans market.

Have all the other stations started to move around in the Pine Belt? K-Love is going to move from 107.1 to 103.7, and WMXI Laurel from 98.1 to 107.1.
I don’t know yet. I’m on the Mississippi Coast. The only thing I can receive is WFFX Voodoo 103.7 out of New Orleans.
So I went to Hattiesburg today and check to see if KLOVE has move to 103.7 FM but not yet it was all static but still can hear a little bit Voodoo 103.7 coming in but very faded. As of WMXI is still on 98.1 FM.
WLVZ has completed its move to 103.7.

It would make sense if WLVZ stay at the same tower in near Collins and put the frequency on 103.5 FM instead 103.7 FM so it would be less interference from WFFX in New Orleans and give WYAB a better signal for Central Mississippi area.WLVZ has now filed to move to the same tower and antenna that WFFX broadcasted from. The new application also upgrades WLVZ from a C3 to C2. A theoretical move to 103.5 as a C2 would create spacing problems with WZKR 103.3C3 up the road. At the new tower location, WLVZ will be 98km from WZKR's tower. If it moved to 103.5, it would violate the minimum separation for first adjacent C3-C2 pairs, which is 117km.
WMXI is airing an announcement which states that the station will move to 107.1 on January 12th.
