It's official, there's gonna be a collision on Saturday Nights, AEW gets new 2 hour show on TNT on Saturdays

Beginning next month, there's gonna be a collision on Saturday nights on TNT as starting on June 17th, All Elite Wrestling will launch a new 2 hour weekly show on Saturdays called Saturday Collision, the new show will be airing on TNT as a new show to give more content for AEW on TV, as recently, AEW canceled their weekly Youtube shows Dark & Dark: Elevation ahead of the new show. AEW started it's relationship with the then WarnerMedia in 2019 when a few months after the company's launch in January of that year, thus giving AEW PPVs a streaming platform with WBD's Bleacher Report (then BR Live) being the portal to all AEW PPVs online at the time. AEW's first deal also launched AEW Dynamite, the company's weekly Wednesday show which originally started on TNT but was moved to TBS in 2022 due to constant preemptions as TNT was being reenforced as the home of Warner Brothers Discovery's sports content for all except MLB Baseball airing mostly on TNT outside of March Madness (which the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament airs on TNT, TBS and TruTV). Then in 2021, AEW launched a weekly 1 hour show on TNT called Rampage on Friday Nights and then in 2022 as part of the deal to move Dynamite to TBS, TNT got 4 special shows per year called Battle Of The Belts which is a bonus 1 hour of TV, however, recent editions of it have pretty much became the extra hour of Rampage as they aired following Rampage live on Fridays. also AEW announced All Access, their new behind the scenes reality show is moving from TBS to Max (the soon to be launched consolidated streaming service that will merge the previous WarnerMedia era streaming service HBO Max in to the previous Discovery Networks Discovery+ platforms), the new deal doesn't include Tony Khan's other promotion (that he acquired from Sinclair Broadcasting Group) Ring of Honor Wrestling which will remain a stand alone feeder fed to AEW on the Honor Club streaming service (that was part of the ROH deal).

The story from Variety:
AEW to Launch Saturday Night TNT Show ‘Collision’ in June

AEW's press statement from their site:
TNT Launches A Second Night Of Wrestling With "AEW: Collision"

AEW Collision won't get the ratings WCW Saturday Night had and what else TNT aired on Saturdays 8-10pm ET.
i agree on that cause Saturdays are for sports, and college football will kill this in the ratings, plus there's a reason why AEW don't run shows on certain days, no to Sundays during NFL season due to Tony Khan's tie to the Jacksonville Jaguars, no to Mondays cause of WWE Raw (which has been unopposed on Mondays since 2010 when TNA Wrestling/Impact Wrestling tried and failed at a Monday Night war with Impact airing opposed to Raw in the early days of Hulk Hogan's tenure in TNA) as well as Monday Night Football in the fall, they don't do Tuesdays cause of NBA, same with Thursdays, and they have a Friday show airing normally after SmackDown ends on Fox (but during the Hockey & Basketball Postseason, it's moved to Saturdays or before the SmackDown).

plus, this makes it harder for AEW to book PPVs on Saturdays in the NFL season due to the new show airing on Saturdays.

If AEW Rampage can't get viewers on friday nights at 10pm et/pt then saturday nights will be worse due to heavy competition.
