ITS TIME FOR SOMEONE IN THIS MARKET TO BRING IN SOME HIGH DOLLAR TALENT

Lets show the rest of the country we can pay big dollars to top airtime talent... $500,000 - $700,000 or more. Thats what this market needs... Big time talent for a big time city.

ROFL! With voice tracking the rule of the day and people being fired country-wide and receipts in the toilet, do you really think this is an option? No disrespect intended, I just can't see it happening.

The economy is good here. We can make a statement to the rest of the country by signing big dollar contracts and luring away big names from other markets. The busines world will then say "wow, san antonio is where its at" and they will want move operations here. Now is the time. Get some local big business to become sponsors like Tesoro, ATT and bring in a big name. Who can we bring...?

LOL

Big market stations in LA and New York are shedding high dollar talent. But unless they come down in price the talent is not going to want to make the move down to San Antonio or Austin.

The San Antonio market is off about 20% compared to 2007; nobody is in a position to be spending extra money.

There are 45 commercial stations licensed in the market, and they are dividing up less than $100 million in revenue.
