It's time for The Masters to let us watch all of The Masters

Not gonna happen. The Masters is like all other sports. They want you to pay for an online stream at Masters.com. There's also full coverage at the Golf Channel.

I noticed CBS started their coverage earlier than usual yesterday. But The Masters is no different from any other major sport. Same with Wimbledon.

The Golf channel has zero coverage of the actual golf at the Masters. The rights to the Masters are jointly held by CBS and ESPN.

There is no streaming service being sold, either.

Augusta National does what Augusta National wants.
Just be happy you are able to see every hole even if the television broadcast starts when the last groups tee off.
It wasn't too long ago when Augusta National prohibited televised coverage of ANY part of the front nine.

And whoever said Augusta wants money to stream coverage must not have had the official Augusta National App.
It's all free baby.
The Masters gets a dump truck load of money from their sponsors dumped at their feet every year and since it's a private club with dues only CEO's and former Presidents can afford Augusta National could really give a toss about soaking common street trash plebs like us to part with our money to watch "A Tradition Like No Other."

Hell, last year a friend of mine went to The Masters and took a picture of the snack bar prices.
The prices were straight out of the 60's.
Beer was like a dollar and cokes were 25 cents.
A pimento sandwich set you back a buck at most.

Should've checked out the Masters' Instagram page; $8.00 gets you a sandwich, drink, snack, AND a dessert!

If you have DirecTV, and subscribe to the "Premiere" package (DTV's highest tier) or the Sports Pack, they offer multiple screens on a single channel of all-day coverage (if I remember correctly, four screens, plus the direct feed from either CBS or ESPN). Not that it matters now since the Masters are long past done, but keep it mind for the foreseeable future.
