IU football coach Kevin Wilson gets into with Zakk & Jack

Wow. I am sort of speechless after listening to this interview. Either Coach Wilson woke up on the wrong side of the bed, or he's a wanna-be Bobby Knight.
 
The coach did a great job baiting them. He was exciting, controversial and set the mood for some good radio. I would have kept the Coach on the phone myself. I would have prayed for a call like that if I were the host. Instead, these two hung up on him and then talked about him like THEY were the story and what the coach had to say was pointless to the audience. I would have kept him on the line, continued with my opinion (and not say things like "I don't appreciate your atitude"), and let the coach go off in his style and direction. People would want to hear that. He’s a coach, they’re all rough around the edges. Those two could have made that whole conversation a complete blast for the listeners. It could have been funny and informative.

Just two more guys in radio trying to be shocking and failing miserably at it.
 
I don't think WNDE is going to get any IU games or advertising in the near future.

I don't get the controversy. Coach got in all the standard cliches in record time. What's the deal ;)?
 
HoosierSky with the Fact 1070/93.1/97.1 has had the IU Package for gosh knows how long now. and the Fact 1260 is the Purdue home station For Indy. why Would IU want to move to 1260 for
 
You are right. Emmis has a lock on IU. I listened to the pod cast and found Trudeau to be a jerk.
It also seemed that Trudeau is very thin skinned because when called out
On it, he got more irate and would not change the tone of the interview or the subject.
Instead, it turned into a hissy fit between the two.
I got the feeling Zakk and Jack are trying to fill Jim Romes shoes. Even Rome
calmed down after the "Chris" Everette flair up.

Kravitz has an excellent op-ed today in the Star regarding the coach.
