Jack 100.3 New Slogan "Spray painting what we want" at White Rock

Who at Jack FM took a 100.3 JACK FM stencil about 2 feet high and 4 feet wide, neon green spray paint and tagged up White Rock Lake with over a dozen stenciled station monikers? Most are on the pavement on the east side of the lake(near the Bath House) over about a mile or two. Some are on road signs. This must have been done on Tuesday October 5.

If you were looking for free advertising and new listeners among the fleet footed runners and spandex clad cycling set that pound pavement around the lake, you are sorely mistaken in your approach.

It's bad enough to see what teenage kids with sharpie markers do to traffic signs in the area. Having a radio station vandalize a park is outrageous.

It's spray chalk. If it ever rains again in Dallas it should wash off. I do agree it's a really bad idea, but at least it's not permanent.

That was stupid. Especially since there have been complaints from residents around White Rock and patrons of the Park. Police have been trying to crack down on it and defacing public property whether it is washable or not is a crime.
