Would be a nice New Year's gift. Format works with the proper execution.
It sounded to me as though CC tried a "Jack" a couple of years back while still calling themselves Mix.vadar said:Would be a nice New Year's gift. Format works with the proper execution.
MsMusicRadio said:Magic is now "the 80's,90's, and today" Guess Cox got some "point"
So, somebody makes a facebook page about Jack in Tampa Bay, and you take that seriously????tngu77 said:
Vader seems to be asking to see what interest there is in different markets. I wouldn't be surprised to see a marketer use this forum as another pipe in their investigating pipeline.FM 100 Means Music said:"Vader" posted the exact same thing in the Orlando folder.
Mods, please suspend this guy for a few weeks.
gamefreak said:The thing about WWRZ is that its a rimshot. Yes, you can hear Max 98.3 in Tampa and areas of Hillsborough County east. However can you hear Max 98.3 in Pinellas County. What about New Port Richey, Spring Hill, Oldsmar and all of Pinellas, Pasco, Herando and Extreme NW Hillsborough. "Mr. Winslow can't listen to Max 98.3 because he lives in Port Richey."
The Adult Hits format has worked well in most markets. If 101-5 The Point can last 10 years why can't Adult Hits survive on any frequency. If a 200-Song Jukebox playing 80's and 90's music lasted that long I believe that there is a market for Adult Hits. The Point was by far the most successful all-80's station in the country. While the format died out in other major cities it didn't die in Tampa.
If The Point could stay steady ratings wise whats stopping "Jack FM".

Yes, because the major programming directors for the Tampa and Orlando markets spend time on these boards and take the opinions posted on here at face value and allow themselves to be influenced by postings by a guy named "Vader" as to how they should program their stations....
