Well, the January PPM came and went and nobody said much on here. I guess the WTVF post caused the ratings to be all but forgotten. I guess it is true, nobody listen to Nash radio that posts on here.
So in the top three in the #'s that count are:
1) WGFX
2) WJXA and 3) WCJK
The Zone CRANKED it the majority of the month, but dropped even with the Fisher news and chaos/transition in week #4. Bout the best #'s since JXA's 12+ 12.6 holiday blast, GFX was just tamed by the last week of the month.
Rock tumbled a bit, then it was the standard mid-ranges.
The only real interesting points other than Jack has more than nine lives is maybe:
a.) WSM-FM might as well conceed it's no gonna get in the remaining two way big country race. Is it time to sink the ship???
b.) RQQ almost beat WSM-FM. Looks like letting the local market make a few decisions is not the kiss of death, and despite the fact that Mac is not a GM or JJ, he should be given major props for his efforts, dedication and increase in $$$. It makes me wonder what could happen to 'RQQ if Lew would donate $10 of his bonus to advertising and giving the signal a tune-up. Go all the way up to like a 3.5 or, what? 4.2? Work it....It's gotta be the 7-minute Groove Line, Mac!
