Tegna NBC affiliate KARE Minneapolis has added Jason Hackett to its KARE 11 Sunrise morning team as co-anchor and reporter, starting in early February 2023.
He joins Alicia Lewis, who was recently promoted to full-time co-anchor and reporter of Sunrise, and meteorologist Guy Brown.
Bill Dallman, KARE president and general manager, said: “Consumers tell us they are looking for an informational, smart and contemporary newscast in the morning. Jason, teamed with Alicia and Guy, will provide that and more to folks in the Metro area and in Western Wisconsin. We believe Jason and the team can help us reset our focus on how consumers use KARE 11.”
