I believe this has already about to happen to stations in Baltimore, Cleveland, Phoenix, Cincinnati, Tampa Bay, & in Tulsa, OK-as E.W. Scripps plans to phase out both game shows for its syndicated package to produced by Scripps & to distributed by WBTV through its Telepictures subsibidary. Some stations have already found new homes; "Jeopardy" & "Wheel" will be going to these stations from Scripps:
Phoenix-KPNX (NBC) from KNXV (ABC)
Cleveland-WOIO (CBS) from WEWS (ABC)
Baltimore-WBFF (FOX), from WMAR (ABC)
Cincinnati-WXIX (FOX), from WCPO (ABC)
Tampa Bay WTSP (CBS),from WFTS (ABC)
Tulsa, OK-KTUL (ABC), from KJRH (NBC)
Four other television stations still carrying "Jeopardy" & "Wheel" that are owned by Scripps will carry "The List", & "Let's Ask America" after their current deals with both SONY-Owned & Produced, & CBS-Disributed game shows runs out in 1-2 years; ABC's KMGH (Denver) & KERO-TV (Bakersfield, CA); & NBC's KSHB (Kansas City) & WPTV (West Palm Beach, Fla.)
