Jerry Jackson dies, longtime Northwest Georgia voice on K98, South 107

Jerry W. Jackson, 57, of 93 Jackson Road, Rockmart, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007. He began a career as a disc jockey with WMAZ Radio in Macon, and was later known for the “Jackson & Hosea” morning show with K98 Radio in Rome, and also the “Jerry & Brenda Gail” morning show with South 107 in Rome.

A tip of the hat to Jerry. Great guy. Outstanding local talent. The Jackson and Hosea show on WKCX / K-98 in the late 70's/early 80's was very good for the Rome market.
