UPDATE: Thanks To Mo Lausier! Mo played Jerry Williams version of "A Child's Christmas in Wales" this morning as he was hosting "The Garden Show with Jim Zappo" solo [ no garden talk today ].

=========================================================================

Seems that WRKO will not be broadcasting Jerry Williams version of Dylan Thomas' "A child's Christmas in Wales" this year. They just had old reruns of the past week.

Have to congratulate WBZ for rebroadcasting their station version of Scrooge in which all the staff had parts. It was recorded sometime last year and even the late David Brudnoy had a part in the radio play. Nice that BZ hasn't forgotten Bruds as RKO has forgotten Jerry.

Guess class always shows.

Maybe it's because Jerry has been gone longer than David.

Maybe it's because Jerry has been gone longer than David. David's death was a bit more tragic than Jerry's, as Jerry lived a full life.

I'm hoping someone will put both of those files online so they're not lost in the archives.

On another thing, did WRKO save any money at all by replacing the Garden show? Two hosts have got to cost more than one.

Yes, Moe's son Arthur who must be 17 or 18 now.

Yes, Moe dragged him in but the kid slept on the studio floor for the
first two hours of the show.

I don't believe that.. I remember when he was born... wow.. Moe has been on there a long time and never got his own show except for weekends and fill-ins...
