>>Jess Cain, Bob Collins and Dick Whittinghill make it into the Chicago-based Radio Hall of Fame
That recognizes Boston's Jess Cain, Chicago's Bob Collins and L.A.'s Dick Whittinghill - all selected for posthumous induction into the Hall during the November 8 live national broadcast on Westwood One.

And, an update on the public memorial service that family and friends had hoped to put together for June: Instead of a public event, the family instead has set up a scholarship in Jess’ name at Emerson College. Should Jess’ fans want to contribute, :

Emerson College

All who contribute will receive a CD compilation of Jess’ best on-air “bits” when they’re ready so be sure to include your contact information if/when you send in your contribution.
