My father, James Jeffrey, Jr., died Thursday, September 17, He was on the golf course when it happened..his favorite place in the world. He had worked for many radio and tv stations in the past, including KTVK CH3 and KFYI Radio.
Thanks for all the kind thoughts and letters.
Mark Jeffrey

Mark, best wishes to you and your family, your dad was a professional in every sense of the word.

For those of us who grew up in the Valley, your dad was one of those old school greats, who was an influence on many, including, I'm sure, his very talented son. His legacy lives on. I am so sorry for your loss, Mark.

Mark -
Your dad was a class act and so are you - you're one of the best I've ever worked with.
I'm so sorry for your loss.

Very sorry to hear about your loss, Mark. Your dad was a very good guy. 24 years ago when we were all struggling to get KFYI going, your dad was one of the few people that actually spent some time showing me how talk radio works....how to prepare. It's gotta be tough, but know that you were a lucky guy to have Jim in your life.

Aha, Mark! So that's where you got all that professionalism and joie de vivre. I sure wish I had known your father. Please accept my condolences and a prayer that his memory will be for a blessing. Thanks for your friendship. So many people are sending similar wishes, because you're a good man, and you obviously had an excellent example. Peace - Stu
