Jim Polito show on WXKS Talk 1200

The cities are in separate states. He'll need to limit or even eliminate his discussion not only of Worcester and Providence politics, but of Massachusetts and Rhode Island politics as well. Which will leave him as just another talker blathering on about national issues from the right.

The example I gave was about last week's winter storm. That affected both areas. But the northeast is filled with similar situations. Do NYC talk shows only talk about the city and completely ignore NJ or CT? Do Philadelphia talk shows only talk about that side of the Delaware River, and ignore Camden or Cherry Hill? Do DC talk shows only talk about the district and not VA or MD? I don't think so. This is not a unique problem. The activities in MA affect residents in RI and vice versa. Same with NH. The signals of these radio stations don't stop at state lines, and neither do the issues in these areas. Restricting yourself to topics because of geography isn't realistic.
