Jim Ryan, future Radio Hall of Famer?

With WLTW's Program Director Jim Ryan announcing he'll step down, how will history--and the Radio Hall of Fame look upon his career?
(WABC PD Rick Sklar, by comparison, was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame 1 year after his death in 1992.)

No question he belongs. He's dominated NYC ratings for a decade.

Yes and he got rid of evrery air talent there. It was never a DJ driven station but you knew they were there and blended. He is going to be a consultant.I guess he sees the hand writing on the wall

Jim belongs in the hall of fame. His work in the radio business made a mark for many years in New York.

Jim actually hired most of them, and coached ALL of them. The decision to rid the station of them was
a corporate cost-cutting move rather than Ryan doing anything.
