Jim Steinman, hitmaker for Meat Loaf, Celine Dion, who wrote 'Total Eclipse of the Heart,' dead at 73

He and Todd Rundgren produced probably some of the most lush-orchestrated (outside of Horn & Langan), awesomest rapid-fire symphonic rocks of the 80s. Listen to "Bad for Good". I had a tape of Steinman pieces that I used to sing with every day en route to work when I was still at the call centre, to loosen up my voice and tongue for the day!

RIP Jim.
