It’s important for listeners and readers to know the autoimmune disease Jim has – most likely Lupus – is very serious and there is no cure, but it can be managed and that is the next step for Jim and his doctors to work out. Unfortunately, this was not a “take a few days off and rest up” type of situation... Jim will be taking a leave of absence he hopes will be short, but his physicians have basically demanded he take time off and put his efforts into getting well under their direct care...
