Jimmy Baron, what you expect a radio personality to look like

I saw Jimmy Barron's photo in accessAtlanta. He looks like the typical radio guy (funny looking). He has sideburns out of the 60's. It is best that radio people keep there looks a mystery. Once you see them the image is gone, as with Baron. What a weird, goofy looking, nerdy guy. Are there any good looking guys in radio or are they all geeks, like Baron?

You mean Jimmy Barron's picture was never anywhere on 99x's site when he was gainfully employed by said broadcasting entity?
 
No axe to grind. Just an observation. He sounds great on the radio as far as voice goes. Not really a unique talent. He is very ordinary. He just has a strange nerdy look about him. I am a newsman, I just report what I see.
 
The only thing I expect out of a radio personality appearance-wise is facial hair.
 
Jimmy has admitted that he's the spitting image of that creepy dwarf on the old Showtime series "Carnivale" (?) and Twin Peaks, so he knows he can be pretty goofy looking.

As far as his radio skills go, I agree with AtlBanker that he's just average. Nothing wrong with that, and it worked really well when Toucher would use him as a whipping boy (like TRG did with SSS), but I think 99X would be insane to try to bring him back since he and Jenners are cut from the same cloth.
 
Are there good-looking people on the radio? I would have to go with a big YES! Of course there are also scary, creepy, and funny looking people on the radio.
 
I can no longer comment on Jimmy Baron; he knows why. Suffice it to say, it is a major miracle we never met in Chicago considering how many friends & relatives we have in common.

I am assuming this has to do with either restraining orders or his future gig when you take over at 92.9.

Do you guys have his cousin Reuben from Skokie in common?
