Jimmy Kimmel threatens to sue NFL Star Aaron Rogers for defamation

Rodgers, a reoccurring guest on McAfee’s podcast, began discussing the anticipated release of the documents with McAfee and co-host A.J. Hawk, both former NFL players, on Tuesday’s episode. “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, that are really hoping [the list] doesn’t come out,” Rodgers told McAfee and Hawk. He later added, “I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I definitely will be popping, popping some sort of bottle.”

How Did Kimmel Respond?

Later Tuesday in a post to X (formerly Twitter), Kimmel vehemently denied any connection to Epstein and called Rodgers a “soft-brained wacko” for his comments. “I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’... Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court,” Kimmel wrote.

Ok then Aaron Rogers better prove he is not a conspiracy theorist but for now it's a rant that's going nowhere.

I think Aaron just ended ANY hope of landing as a guest on ANY ESPN show again since Jimmy has had his show on mother networfk ABC since Aaron was a kid in Elementary School & ESPN (Like ABC) are owned by Disney

Not to mention this is also the kind of stuff that also makes CNN, MSNBC & even Fox News green as they see ratings $$$ heading their way

Morning Joe won't be the only place this gets talk

And now here's the real fallout from the Epstein list. This is why Aaron Rogers needs to be careful here because some people when they hear damning allegations that would radicalize them to do stuff like commit murder in the name of fighting predators and it leads to people like that ending up more paranoid while claiming to be the tough guy.

This is why nobody should joke about stuff like the one Aaron Rogers is accused of doing in the name of a political rant. This is especially when there is no evidence that Jimmy Kimmel is on the Epstein list. One could end up radicalizing their fans to go on the attack and murder in the name of fighting sex trafficking like the one Epstein is accused of doing in a list.

Investigators say they have no “independent and verifiable facts” that a 20-year-old man found dead in a car trunk in October had sex trafficked his girlfriend as her father, the confessed killer, has claimed.

Furthermore, police allege John Eisenman, 60, told investigators he was high on methamphetamine when he killed Andrew Sorensen last year.

The arrest came just days after Sorensen’s body was found in the trunk of an abandoned car in Spokane. Sorensen had been missing for a year.

In court documents filed Monday, Spokane police Detective Randy Lesser wrote he “has not been able to document any independent and verifiable facts that would indicate that Sorensen somehow sex trafficked” Eisenman’s daughter.

Aaron Rodgers was in college when Jimmy Kimmel Live debuted.

i have a feeling Pat's show is a better fit on a uncensored paywall streaming service, he is not a good fit on ESPN cause his show is pretty much a sports talk version of a tamed down Howard Stern show.

i give it a few more months before those in Bristol, CT cut him lose and he goes back to being YouTube exclusive or moves to Prime Video.

I wonder if Karl Malone (formerly with the Utah Jazz) has had a chat with Jimmy about that bit on "The Man Show". It appears Carolla was the brains on that show (and he is dyslexic!)
